Charlton Glass Works: Copper Infused Apple Platter 

Sandie Charlton and her son, Jon Moilanen have revived the ancient art of combining glass and metal.  In this piece, the hand-cut copper apple fused between layers of glass to form functional pieces of art.  The 1500 degreee kiln turns the copper into a unique, firey image.  This is a durable and beautiful piece of art, that is food-safe. Platter is approximately 8" x 10".
